Nicole Richie confirms that her 18-year-old daughter has always gone by her middle name, Kate. Speaking to People, Richie said, "Yeah, she goes by her middle name. She has her whole life."
The revelation came after Richie celebrated Kate's 18th birthday on Instagram with photos and the caption, “18 years of you @katemaddennn.”
