A 13-year-old girl from Kentucky, Wynter Wagoner, has been found safe more than two months after she was first reported missing. Authorities located her inside a home in Silver Spring, Maryland, following a crucial tip. Wynter underwent a medical exam to confirm her well-being.
Police say she was discovered with 37-year-old Christian Alexander Delgado, who claimed he met her online and called the situation a misunderstanding. Delgado was arrested at the scene, charged with kidnapping, and remains in custody on a $1 million bond, pending extradition to Kentucky.
Wynter’s aunt provided her location to U.S. Marshals after Wynter called and shared it. Her father expressed gratitude for the community support that helped bring her home safely.
